I am Back With Some Exciting News

Welcome to "Life in the sunshine". I am really excited about what's been happening and want to share some things with you.

I had to take a break from posting on my blog because of travel and some pressing projects that had to be completed in the last few months month.

It is amazing how time flies when you are engrossed in something interesting. But that's how I like it ... and I get more satisfaction from life when I am doing the things I love doing.

In the last few months I completed a consultancy project in the island of Dominica, traveled to Canada and spent some time getting to know my grandson (two years old) and then returned to Barbados and built a new website (www.sixfigureyearlybusiness.com), which I launched last month. I will tell you more about that later.

Today, I want to share a little more about "Life in the sunshine". I have learned from experience that we must create our own sunshine so that we produce the light and energy that brightens our daily experience. We need to know what we want out of life ... and when we have a clear picture of the life we are creating for ourselves, we can be energize and focus that energy on getting things done every day. Completing our daily Action Plan will then move us closer to being who we want to become.

Some years ago I decided that I needed to make a change in my life so I could have more time with my family, more time to play golf, go to the gym and only work on things that I wanted to do. Generally, I wanted to have more Time and Financial Freedom. To be able to live this lifestyle, I needed to create new means of earning an income that would meet my needs. I had been exposed to a Network Marketing Opportunity in 1995 and realized that even though I had not done very much some months, I had received a cheque every month without fail. What if I could increase that income and find other opportunities to create similar monthly incomes .... WOW! that was my answer and I started working on it with determination.

Today I have several programs that pay monthly residual incomes and put a smile on my face when I realize that next month I can expect the same or better ... even if I decide to play more golf. If you want to have a "Life in the sunshine" you need to learn how to build multiple streams of residual income. You can do this with programs on the internet that allow you to do business any where in the world, while sitting for a few hours a day at your computer.

Most people are spending hours every day on their computer but they are not earning ONE CENT for their time and efforts. Unfortunately, we can remain poor and keep spending to make other people rich or we can make wiser choices and change our lives so we create a plan for improving our lives. If we can help enough people to make this change in their lives, so they can be successful in changing their lives then our lives will continue to improve.

Have a Sunny Day in Barbados

ANOTHER SUNNY DAY IN BARBADOS

Today I just wanted to say how great it was to be alive and well. Waking to the songs of birds singing and bright sunlight pouring through the windows at 5:30 in the morning and feeling a sense of joy that there was one more day to be up and doing the things I love to do.

Each morning I take some time to meditate and reflect on how blessed I am to have good health and know that I can choose how I spend today. God gave each of us the "power to choose" and to know that the choices we make today will determine what we experience tomorrow. I choose to enjoy today and like the psalmist said "this is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it".

Ok. Everyone may not be looking the same place for wise council but you need to find your own source of knowledge that can help you to make wise choices. I will try to post something interesting and useful on this blog on a regular basis and will share any new sources of knowledge that come my way. Remember, its not what we know but what we do with what we know that will change our lives.

I look forward to building a great network of friends who want to share ideas on wise living.
